Yeah, you want to see "passion"? You'll see plenty of it up close to your eyes when you try to pull this stunt to the losing SEC fans who interpret them as being a back-handed gesture...

It's more of a cultural thing. A&M is more of an old school, leave what happens on the field, on the field type gameday environment. Don't get me wrong, it can be plenty rowdy during the game, but before and afterwards, win or lose, Aggies are more likely to buy visiting fans a beer or give them some free BBQ rather than threaten them. If you were looking for fans like that, Texas Tech probably fits the bill more than A&M (as far as Texas Big 12 schools go).
I'm not saying thats what the SEC is looking for, I'm just pointing out thats what SEC teams have had to deal with as far as an on the road environment in places like Baton Rouge
The point is, we've been dealing with much worse for years, so dont kid yourself by thinking anyone is gonna be intimidated by the Tackle Box and Male Cheerleaders in College Station

Hey, their loss if they miss out on free food and alcohol because they're butthurt over a loss
We just place hospitality as high as football fervor around here.

Point taken. I can agree with that.

No, you are accept losing better because you are use to losing.

Looks like somebody missed the part where I said "win or lose"

But it makes their defense play harder.
Therefor it is as highly valuable to a teams performance as BYU's magic underwear.

Jesus Christ y'all need to win a relevant bowl game. I was looking to see if you'd played any SEC teams at their stadium other than arkansas recently and realized the last bowl you won was in 2001 and it was the Galleyfurniture.com bowl. And before that was '95 in the Alamo bowl.
3-15 in bowl games over the last 20 years will not do, no sir! This is the SEC Damnit, y'all better pick it up.

In Texas you don't shake hands.

Serious Question:
Did Aggies get ripped on this bad when they were in the Big XII?
Did Texas think all these "traditions" were as homo as the SEC fans do? Or do they do similarly fruity things so it just seems normal to Big XII fans?

It took 3 pages for this to be mentioned. Really?
And someone mentioned the Grove as being the least cool SEC tradition

That answer your question?

Couldn't agree more. It's baffling that a school with TAMU's resources couldn't cobble together a better record over the past decade plus. Whether it was A&M's fault (former coach RC Slocum preached till he was blue in the face about how TAMU needed to upgrade their facilities in order to keep pace with national powers, all to no avail), or the product of being in texas' shadow recruiting-wise and psychologically, it's high time for TAMU to take matters in its own hands to improve itself on the gridiron. I tend to think that jumping to the SEC is a huge step in the right direction, but it's not a panacea: the Ags must follow through with the right personnel to capitalize on playing in the nation's premier conference. It won't happen overnight, but A&M must make relevant progress or this move is pretty shallow, in my opinion.

We would have gotten to cowbells sooner but A&M provided an information overload of lame tradtions... we kind of just ran with that for a while
The Grove isnt lame, but the way Ole Miss fans talk about it kind of is. But dont worry, we haven't forgotten the lamest of them all... Hotty Toddy. (Although I think the A&M fans really are kind of jealous and will probably steal and add it into their synchronized male cheerleader yell routines)

These "resources" involve an athletic department that had to borrow millions from the academic side in order to stay operational in the recent past?
OK.

Anyone remember when OU beat A&M 77-0 and they played the Alabama fight song for Franchione
The only thing that would be better would be if we beat them by 70 this weekend, and played Boomer Sooner for them, to remind them of their place and their tradition.
