I've read this thread, and I can't find where it says he went straight to the other hospital. I could have missed it though. If this thing happened, do we know for sure they didn't look at him first in Morgantown and then send him on to Pittsburgh?

Highly possible since that is where he is living. Makes it easier on the wife and kid to actually take care of him while in the hospital dealing with surgery.
