Gotchya.
To be honest, I think State fans are playing up this motivation/ chip on the shoulder edge over LSU a bit much for this game.
LSU might be able to lose 1 game this year and still achieve its goals, and they can't afford for that game to be their SEC opener against state (no offense). the players realize this.
I think it will be a close game. We shocked Oregon with our speed defensively. they couldn't handle not being able to just run around someone like they are used to doing. State can grind out tough yards and fight through some contact. i think a more rested LSU team kind of wears them out in the end, but i think it's a close game.

elite offensive lines don't have trouble punching it in vs. a D2 team.
I'm sure they were just so motivated to give 110% against a team they could play against drunk and beat. Bottom line is the LSU o-line is top 10 in the nation. I would consider the top 10 units in the game elite
and yea, you definitely mad bro

It's sad you honestly believe that beating Oregon was so impressive. Penn state and Oregon have about the same talent level this season. Also, Ole Miss could probably beat both of them.
Wait, WTF? Looks like serious but not sure.

Ole Miss could beat Oregon?
Obvious troll is obvious.

How exactly did you hit us in the throat early?
You scored one TD in the 1st quarter
We scored 2
End of 1st qrtr 14-7 Arkansas
21-17 miss at at the half. But anything past the 1 quarter isn't "early."

in Starkville. Merlins rallied the troops then after a tough week with Nick Bell's death & the Bama game and the team kicked Arky in the throat early in what turned out to be a thriller. Like then the team is hurt and their backs are against the wall if there is any chance of this being a better year than last year. The crowd will be even more electric than last year with ESPN in town and it being the homer opener...it's going to be a great game and that will be because State plays well early. Will it be sustained against LSU's depth? I dunno but I don't see this being a blowout.
That was the guttiest game I have watched in a long time. I gained a lot of respect for MSU after that game.
