My bad. So that means that all three individuals picked by Les Miles to go to SEC Media Days are dealing with some type of suspension.

All 3 that were originally picked? Yes.

T-Bob isn't in any trouble though.

Do you think there are any long term implications as it relates to on the field stuff?

I can't make that call, IDK what rule he broke. That isn't public yet. I want to see better leadership off the field though. We have seen enough suspensions this year. It's time to look at the task at hand and realize the opportunity that is right in front of us. We have a chance to do something that hasn't been done in 4 years of scrutiny and confusion.

No, not concerned. He probably just broke curfew b/c he chose to party instead of preparing for NW St. Just guessing.

Let's say your guess is correct. After the Shady's deal, that doesn't worry you in the least?

How do you think LSU fans should feel about it? You're obviously more concerned about it than we are.

N'ah. I don't worry until it becomes a routine arrest-fest and recruits' parents begin to question whether it's a wise decision to send their child there. Miles' program is far from that point, even with the Shady's incident.

IDK how someone can't be concerned. Our team has already shown enough irresponsibility to last 3 years. We were in the spotlight of one the worst off the field issues in our programs history. If this had happened before 2000's it wouldn't have been near as publicized, but due to the technological advances in the modern day and the media advances were were scrutinized and bashed endlessly for our immature and irresponsible actions as a team and a program. Many were wondering if Miles had lost control.

After all that you would think the team would do everything possible not to violate the rules, but apparently there is still a little distraction that needs to be dealt with. I hope Baker learned from the mistake he made, but he is one we are counting on this year and he must make better decisions in the future.

Am I concerned. Yes.

It seems you are looking for an issue where there is none. I have heard NOBODY stress over this. He broke a team rule and was sat down, done as far as I am concerned.

Meanwhile aren't you a bit concerned y'all couldn't manage more offense versus a weak PSU team?

That was BS obviously, Tide performed well in enemy territory.

After the Shady's brawl, breaking Curfew is one of the LAST rules anyone on the team should violate.

Are any of you SEC Rant LSU fans concerned about a leader of the team being suspended for violation of team rules?

Not worried. We win the next 2 games on the road with or without Baker. Next man up

He's a Tide fan, he thinks he's himself got an angle, and he's going to play it for all it's worth. Which isn't much, considering that LSU has suffered four suspensions so far and is 2-0.

Nothing to see here, move along.

The issue itself wasn't that big of a deal. College bar fights with football players happen all the time (remember Terrence Toliver getting peppered last year?). Shady's was an especially black-eye b/c Jefferson "won" the fight brutally and convincingly, and was also the starting QB on the cusp of a very hyped game. OOps.

In my opinion, the incident where Ego, Sam & Mett got a gun pulled on them was a much bigger problem.

LSU will move on.

Bake knows he's solid on the LB depth chart. He's a 21 yr old man. If he broke curfew to get a little extra pep talk from his girlfriend, I won't throw stones.

I'm going to respond to myself, as it would become cumbersome to respond to all. For those LSU fans in this thread who think I am scared/worried/mad/upset/etc. or that I am just a "bammer" stirring up trouble, let me set your mind at ease. I personally don't give a shite who suits up for LSU, and I have no vested interest in the Baker matter due to my collegiate affiliation. I asked a simple question. Does a leader on the D being suspended for violating team rules, especially considering the other off the field issues, concerning you going forward?

Auburn tells me you should be more worried who "suits" up for Alabama.

NO, I am not worried. The team did not lack leadership tonight. I think Brandon Taylor, Mingo and TM7 give plenty of leadership to the Defense.
