I heard Travis Lewis broke his foot and will be out 8 weeks. I haven't heard anything about Landry Jones. I hope that's not true

The threats were made by state politicians to the Texas schools who were considering the Pac 16. It seems like it would be illegal to me for a state legislature to jack with funding for a public university because of college sports affiliations BUT these kinds of threats intimidated both Texas and A&M both last summer and when the SWC blew up.
