Penn State has by far the worst fanbase in all of college football. They are classless and show no respect to their opponents.

Of course there are great and bad fans in every fanbase, be careful

I grew up in Penn State territory and used to got about 5 or so games a year in Happy Valley. Penn State fans are delusional assholes but Ohio State is on the same level, if not worse. Don't try to make yourself out to be better than them.

Some tips for those making the trip up:
-Go to the creamery, greatest ice cream around. You can walk about a mile into campus and go to the actual store and wait an hour in line or go to the stand outside the Bryce Jordan Center. Get Peachy Paterno, best ice cream flavor ever.
-Try to catch the players arriving for PSU, it's a neat experience but you'd have to get there about an hour or so before they arrive so probably not worth it for the Bamer fans
-Stay away from the students, they're pretty awful to opposing fans...especially those of good teams. Suck up the inevitable redneck/dumbass comments coming your way and just enjoy the beatdown y'all give them on the field
-Definitely watch the band play pre-game, their band is one of the best in the country
-Your best bet for mingling among tailgaters is behind the press box side. More wealthy alumni and less, drunk a-hole kids that way. You'll be more welcomed over there.

Enjoy it, one of the best experiences in college football up there.
