So you think that just having a relationship with someone should send them to the NCAA infractions committee?

I don't know what your point is. I'm just saying bama says there is no relationship (or booster status, if you prefer), and I'm saying how can you end a relationship you claim never existed?

Booster and relationship aren't the same. They ended a relationship with someone they deemed not to be a booster. They also disassociated themselves from Harvey Updike. He wasn't a booster either.

He is "associated" to the extent he is displaying Alabama memorabilia in his store, and asking Alabama players to sign things, pose for pictures, etc.
Disassociation does not require a formal, documented relationship to be effective or appropriate.
Seriously, this is not a difficult concept.

Think of it this way. You are after the hot chick in school. She is pretty, nice, and says hi when you talk to her, but politely declines your advances and requests for a date. You are not her boyfriend. In study hall, you get a letter passed by her friend saying she's not interested and to leave her the hell alone and that you are a little creepy.
There is no relationship, but she is disassociating from your arse.

Whatever you want to call it...I think sideline passes and press box passes will qualify as a booster to most people outside of the UA Compliance Office. It would seem odd that unless someone gave him free game tickets all these years, he never bought season tickets. He seems to be able to afford it and certainly has a love for bama football.
Oh, and Harvey is gonna be pissed when he finds out he wasn't a booster.
