Because when you bitch at the NCAA for not announcing an investigation was over...then get faced by the NCAA who straight up says its still on going...then you obviosuly weren't aware of continued investigation.

I understand this was a month ago, but that's a lot of recruiting being done before you found out you were still investigated. And Im sure more than one recruit was told AU was no longer under investigation.

Why does that matter, they're not hiding it from the NCAA.

Good gawd you folks are dense. I do not believe that auburn would let the media and the rest of the world know if they have received a LOI. They would hide it from everybody just like Ga Tech did (and Alabama did back in the day with the text book stuff).

au wont release secondary violations...why would they release something major like this?

do you really think auburn going to tell the media anything? this is the same bunch that is so worried about negative media hurting recruiting....

hence, they're going to use the experience of the Ga Tech compliance guy to hide everything until the last possible moment.

I can definitely understand how you can see it like that, or it could mean...

And that Julie Roe Lach is a stupid bitch.

Oh, there was a stupid person in that conversation, that's for sure. But it wasn't Roe Lach. She made Chizik look like a complete idiot in front of every football and basketball coach in the conference. Auburn fans are the only ones too stupid to grasp that fact. A turnip has more brain cells that Chizik demonstrated in that conversation.

Unlike Auburn, Alabama complied with records request from the media and released the letter. Auburn has not complied with similar media requests, according to Pat Forde.

You do realize the implications of not disclosing under an open records request, don't you?

For Nick Saban and Mal Moore, the implications are the combination of "jack" and "shite".

Now, for Auburn, the standards may be different.

Any kid who chooses Auburn to play their college football before this investigation is completed is too stupid to be considered a quality player.

Way cool story, bro.

Keep up the quality posting. You're gonna become a Bama legend on this site right up there with AlaHunter and NBamaAlum.

Chizik and Co need to make sure that all recruits are aware that Auburn is still under investigation. Lying is a sin, afterall.
