Yancy Porter said something to the fact that Coleman and Blakely counted toward your 2011 class and because Mason qualified so late Auburn game the last spot of the 25 of last years class to someone else and he will have to greyshirt and count towards the 2012 class. That is what he is trying to say, I have no idea if it's true or not so don't shoot the messanger.

He's absolutely wrong, but I won't shoot the messenger.. Even with Coleman and Blakely counting toward the 2011 class, we still have plenty of scholarship room. I researched, and even with out ENTIRE class getting in, we would still ony have around 73 scholly players. With Anthony Swain not enrolling, that's another spot left. We have plenty of room. Like I said, Mason is one of the biggest pieces (based on depth in 2011) from out last class.

If Blakely counts against our 25, then he may be right. I didn't think transfers counted. However, if they let him count, they damn sure better let him play this year.

ETA: We signed 24 not counting Coleman and Blakely. Swain didn't qualify in time or is being greyshirted or is going to JUCO, depending on who you believe. That means if Coleman and Blakely count we are still at 25 including Mason. So my original position on this stands. I think it is a little wishful thinking on Porter's part.
