I hope you're right about Poole, but 65 of those yards against Alabama came on one play were Mark Baron took a HORRIBLE angle.

I don't see any LSU Safetys on any of the lists. Personally, as an LSU fan, I would be disinclines to trade Reid or Loston for any of those on the list.
LSU's defensive backfield is loaded this year! Whether any make all SEC or not, I'll take that deep, talented and experienced secondary over any in the SEC.

IDK, I feel like LSU hasn't had a great season out of a safety in a while.
But I say that on gut reaction and haven't checked the stats. There have been some really good safeties in this conference recently, maybe LSU has just been overshadowed a bit.

Well obviously past performance means SOMETHING, but I just didn't want people to make a list based completely on last year's stats.
I put TR and ML as first team SEC because TR is really good and will be running behind a stronger line than Davis will. I put ML over davis because he had similar statistics as a true freshmen, and most players make the biggest improvement from year 1 to year 2.
I don't really consider 2nd team SEC a slight with the talent in this conference at RB.

QBs that will have a better season than Chris Relf:
1.) Tyler Bray
2.) Aaron Murray
3.) Stephen Garcia
4.) Tyler Wilson
5.) Zach Mettenberger (if he started)
6.) Barrett Trotter
7.) AJ McCarron (high possibilty)

Only 1 person listed Barrett Jones, and even then he was 2nd team.
I think someone even put Chance Warmack over him

Damn...TTsTowel like's him some Arky skill position guys...
As to putting Relf in my top four, I only listed a 1st and 2nd team...not 3 and 4, I think Relf MIGHT be number 3 if he actually performs like he did in the bowl. The only problem is that Ole Miss had a suffocating defense compared to Michigan last year.

There are a lot of good tackles in this conference. Not as many good guards. But hey, that's just my opinion.
And I like Relf because of his experience and dual threat capability in Mullen's offense, with a bunch of WR's back and the RB back. And it's not like there are a ton of good QBs in this conference.

Clowney on your 1st team as a TR FR? That's going out on a pretty big limb there.

I think that by the end of the season, Tyler Wilson will be the obvious #1 QB in the SEC.

I'm a draft junkie, plus my stepfather is an Auburn fan, so I always know what's going on on The Plains. Plus they are an instate rival.
But you wouldn't know about that since LSU doesn't have one
