Only way Gus gets kids from Arkansas is if they hook up with Walt. I don't think any of the bigtime kids are this year. Ward and Cobb aren't. Don't think Brooks is.

They makes tons of mistakes and don't bother to correct them or check sources. I've seen all sorts of errors when they quote kids.
Exactly.

Kodi isn't a coach...that's all that needs to be said.

FWIW when I was in high school Malzahn was the coach at SHS. Eventually went to the new school HBHS, Malzahn would stop by from time to time. I'm sure he visits Arkansas more than most believe. This was when he was at Tulsa tho, only 2 hours away. Not sure how far Auburn is from Springdale.

Kodi turned out to be an amazing part of our team, I (as would most people) would love to have another Kodi Burns on our roster

Malzhan's influence in Arkansas is starting to erode. He won't be that much of a factor here in the very near future.

He still has a lot of influence with HS coaches and a lot of support from boosters at Ark.

Not anymore. Gus' association with Pinnacle Preps has eroded most of the support Gus may have had with some Razorback Fans including me. I once would have been happy with Gus being the head coach at Arkansas, especially over someone like Nutt, but not anymore.
Pinnacle Preps is shady organization at best and any coach that has ANY association with them is no better than they are. It’s easy for people to be fooled by what someone says and how they act in public but if you really want to know what someone is really like just look at whom they associate with. That tells you all you need to know.

Yeah, I feel sorry for him catching a TD pass in a national championship game.
Hell, Arky receivers don't even know what it's like to win an SEC championship game in Atlanta.
