Exactly right. The Finebaum call could be thrown out and they could still get a conviction, thanks to the other call to the Professor.

He could always say that he did this to further stir the shite on campus as well as on the radio.

Of course, I think this would be another charge entirely if he was lying, something along the lines of calling in a bomb threat if they try to say that is was bio-terrorism. Long shot but if all else fails and they are determined to hammer this guy for something you could see it.

And for him to be former law enforcement makes it even more pathetic. He needs to be in jail...not necessarily because of the poison, but because he has proven to be a fricking moron and normal people should not have to deal with him in daily life. He'd just get in the way.

I think it is a powder that you mix with water, but I don't know much about it other than what I have read on the internet.

I operate a feed and farm supply store and have been using and selling agricultural chemicals for about 15 years. That plus halflife was something we covedred in high school WDE, come on bro.

Has anyone actually seen the work being done to the trees? What have they done? Not talked about doing. I read one story saying they had to dig up all of the sidewalk for a block.

I get half life, but I would think that it would take a certain amount of time for the poison to reach the leaves or affect the leaves on different parts of the tree and that a rough timeline may be able to provided based on that. Again, I am mostly speculating and talking out of my arse, because I have no idea how the poison works or how it affects the trees.

Only thing I've heard is something about industrial strength "vacuums" that were sucking the soil out from around and underneath the roots.

That can be used to a certain extent, but its still dependent on how much poison is used. The tree's roots will absorb it faster if there is a higher percentage of it in the soil, and vice versa. The more in the soil, the faster it works.

Also, a tree is a big frickin plant, if there was very little used, there might not be enough to reach the top, and if it did, it would take a longer time to get there. If there was a shite ton of it, then it wouldnt take long at all for it to get there because there would be no shortage of it as it moved through the tree.

I'm building Updyke's defense and WDE and Ross are trying to blow holes in it.

Bama Fans: We've decided that now, proof is required to call somebody guilty.

Auburn fans: since when you hypocritical bastards?

Other fans: Oh goody, this should be fun.

They had a huge tent around the site for about a week excavating soil and what not, trying not to disturb the roots. I don't really know much about what they have to do, so its hard to say exactly.
