Well what exactly is 'few' teams? In 2007, nine teams scored 14 points or more on Bama, in 2008 & '09 seven teams did it. In 2010 4 teams did it. These stats are not overpowering, and 'Bama isnt putting the best defense on the field EVER this year are they?

In 2005 and 2006, six teams scored 14 or more on LSU's defense. IS one game really that much better?

Which, statistically, ties for the best LSU has done in the last two decades (in 2003 4 teams scored 14 or more on LSU)

Yet they're right there with LSU's best efforts.

Yes, this might be the best unit we've had under Saban.

By the way, in 2005, Alabama allowed only 4 teams to score 14 or more, and gave up an average of 10.6 points per game and allowed 4 teams to score 14 or more. In 2003, LSU gave up an average of 11.8 per game allowing 4 teams to score 14 or more. does this mean 2005 Alabama defense is better than 2003 LSU defense?
