"Smoke Draw"
My favorite play for several years. Ran it to great effecctiveness against Saban in 2002 (I think with only 2 min remaining in the first half we drove down the field and scored a TD without passing the ball). It was a great play for us.

No clue what that is
Didn't really start paying attention to college football closely until Mike Price made headlines and Shula took over.

Magilla, did you watch the 02 game in baton rouge? Didn't we go 80 yards or so without about 2 min remaining in the half w/o throwing to get on top 7-0?

I remember his 80 yard TD on the 55 smoke draw in the opening drive of Arkansas(I think).

Oh that was great, but this wasn't shaud, (maybe Santonio Beard ahmad galloway or Ray Hudson?). I was at the 02 Bama-LSU game and it was a scoreless first half until we got a TD right before halftime. I seem to remember us covering 80 yards with 2 or so minutes to go in the half without throwing the ball, and thinking that was a hell of n accomplishment. Any LSU fans remember this or did I not remember correctly?
BTW, if you're only 19 you got a hell of alot of more knowlege and respect for the history of te game than most your age. kudos.

Was at the game.
I think a big play set up a Tyler Watts short run-in for a TD right before the half.
Saban had to admit on his Radio Show the following week the team completely misprepared for the way they were expecting the Smoke Draw to be run.

I try
I love the history of the game, hell, some of my favorite players are players I've never had the opportunity to watch in a game live

Just making sure I wasn't completely crazy (games do sometimes run together!)

Arian Foster Fumbling inside the 5.

Roman Harper coming through. IT would have been nice if that defense would have had ANY kind of offense to help the out.

That was 6 years ago. But fosteresque for sure.

You mean having guys like Matt Miller as your go-to QB target is a bad thing?

Hey, don't forget the Jumbo Package! Allowed for all kinds of field goals inside the 5!

Ah come on MM caught a TD or two in his time. His brother Mark played a few years before him, but don't think he ever cracked more than the practice squad.

Ehhh...I'm sure he has had a great life. You know after reeling in the UT catch and the Cotton Bowl catch, he found himself covered up in fine arse.
