I'm guessing that since we didn't win our first baseball NC until 1991 he thinks we should "stfu" about being an elite baseball program too.

Th only problem Arkansas has is understanding the facts..even in their big BCS game year... they STILL are not ranked as high as LSU ..Winning the last game of the year counts too...Tht is Why you might win a few battles but we WIN The WAR.

You obviously haven't been paying attention for the last decade that we have beaten Alabama 8 out of 11 and the worst 2 teams in that time frame (2008 and 2009) gave far better Alabama teams a tough time including our 2008 that finished the regular season 7-5 taking a 10-0 Bama team to overtime.
I'm talking about this past year.
Again, you are the one picking and choosing whatever statistic from the past you choose to pick, trying to prove LSU dominance, year in and out, and for "beating tOSU this past year.

First,
Woody Hayes vs. Bear Bryant. I'm not even going to respond to how moronic using this is to judge a game in 2011 (OSU also finished 9-3 that year, Bama was 11-1).
Now, moving on, this was your earlier qoute:
Ohio State was 8-3 (entering the game), not top 10, lost to 9-2 Auburn.
OSU was 8-2-1, not top 10, lost to 9-2 UGA.
OSU was 9-3, not top 10, lost to 11-1 Alabama.
Finally, a top 10 OSU team. OSU was 11-1 entering, lost to a 1-loss SEC team. This was still 15 years ago, though, and a completely different coaching staff.
2001 Outback, OSU was 8-3, not top 10, lost to 7-4 South Carolina. This was still a completely different coaching staff. The current freshmen were in 3rd grade, the seniors were in middle school.
2002 Outback, OSU was 7-4, not top 10, USC was 8-3. This was only Tressel's first year, and the current frosh were only 4th grade. Seniors still were not in high school yet.
Then the two NC games (and no one on the team played against UF, only seniors played sparingly as frosh, likely in small roles, against LSU).
My point was, with your statement, you are acting as if OSU was a juggernaut in all these games. In actuality, in many of these games, OSU wasn't great, even losing multiple games to Big Ten teams, and in many of their bowl games against the SEC was actually the clear underdog. In the three years OSU lost to the SEC when OSU was "elite", the Bucks lost to a 1-loss team, and then the other two, they lost to the best team in the country (and once again none of these players had anything to do with two of these games, and only a small portion had a tiny role in one of them). So to think that a top 10 OSU isn't "SEC-caliber", quite frankly, is stupid.

You're the one who has been picking and choosing the time periods/coaches to make an argument for LSU being dominant, year in and out, not me.
I'm talking about time periods and coaches to show the relevance of patterns. At some point back in the middle of this thread I made a reference to LSU being dominant in the Miles era in bowl games.

It doesn't. It was a wise-arse response to an inacurrate post about Ohio States record against SEC teams in bowl games. Why can you not get past this obsession of yours to actually read sequential posts?

We're not the ones trying to prove we're dominant.
...and I don't give a shite about rankings.

Only a complete idiot would argue that Arkansas is the same level of football program that LSU is, but by the same token only a moron would deny that Arkansas has became a program that can and often does beat LSU.

Nope. I actually think an Ohio State capable of being ranked in the top 10 against a Big 10-11-12 schedule would make a pretty good middle of the pack SEC team.

Then you have not seen the number of times we came back in the 4th quarter during the Miles era.

Because you don't agree with my opinion that Ohio State is a good team in a shitty football conference? So be it. Let me know the next time your conference wins a national championship or when 5 teams in your "Leader" division beat the hell out of each other and still manage to finish the season ranked in the top 15.
