Bama was up 24-21 on Texas with a little over 2 minutes to go in the game. Texas' freshman QB could not get it done. McCoy would have been the difference. Bama got all the breaks last year. To prove my point how many breaks did Bama get this year???

Meh, this year's Bama team should have dropped 31-35 on Auburn in the first half. 09 Bama > 10 Auburn

They'd both destroy both of LSU's national championship teams, especially the "national championship" team from '07.

Meh. 2007 LSU would probably lose, but I seriously doubt the 03 team would. That defense would slow Cam down, and Mauck, Clayton, Devery Henderson, and Skylar Green would undoubtedly put up points on Auburn's atrocious secondary. LSU's OL was stout that year too. The rest of your post is a painfully idiotic attempt at flaming.

How? This years Auburn team didn't destroy this years Bama team.

Conversely, last years bama team didn't destroy last years Auburn team.

Last year's bama team is better than this years.

This year's Auburn team is better than last years.

So comparing head-to-head for this year and last year is pretty much a wash.

What game did you watch Texas got the breaks with fluke bama special team break downs. they got two quick turnovers because of muffed kicks and came away with 6 points. Texas hit two big plays to Shippley, but that was it. Saban is to soft with a lead. Game was never in doubt.

Why are you so envious of Alabama? Is it Saban? Are you jealous that we have him? Or did you grow up during that period of 30 years where LSU went winless in Baton Rouge against Alabama? Wouldn't it just be easier and less painful to become an Alabama fan? That way, you could still think about Alabama 24/7 and it wouldn't be quite as pathetic. And we'd only make fun of you a little.

This is an obvious flame, but I'll just say that last years Bama team was one of the top 3 teams in the past 25 years.

We talked about this the week after the Iron Bowl, you are obviously late to the party.

If you really wanna know though, the 09 Bama team would destroy the 07 and 03 Tigers.

Indeed.

With Jordan Freakin' Jefferson as QB.

Well, at least we can plead the Chris Todd excuse.

Name 22 better. This was also dicussed last year before the Bammer and Aubie newbies started to jump on the TigerDroppings bandwagon.

2001 Miami, 2005 UT, and 04 USC were basically the three up for discussion.

And you base that on the fact they barely squeaked by this year's 'Bama team? Last year's 'Bama defense would have stuffed Cam and co. IMO as would the UF defense of '08 and the LSU defense of '03. The '04 Au defense was also very good fwiw.

2009 Bama would handle 2007 Tigers but the 2003 version would be tough. I watched the replay of the LSU/Oklahoma BCS Championship game last week. I had forgotten how stout that defense was. Bama 09 had a better running game than LSU 03 but Mauck and his receivers taken as a whole were slightly better than McElroy and his receivers. Special teams and defense basically a wash so would be a great game.

Uh huh. And you base that on the fact they had to have a horrific officiating call to defeat a young Tiger team at home in '09 and Lee's picksixitis to squeak by in '08. Either of those BCS title teams would handle '09 'Bama or '10 Auburn on a given day. Probably would split a home and home series with either but that is the very least. Your statement is moronic on several levels.
