Robinson had a fantastic year. He's not in the Heisman running because his team sucks balls.
Here are his stats on the year:
Passing:
155/250 (62%)
2,316 yards, 16 TD 10 INT
Rushing:
245 attempts, 1,643 yards, 14 TD
He put up absolutely ridiculous numbers against terrible competition and pedestrian numbers against good competition.

I'm a Dodgers fan.
There is not a shred of evidence that Cam has done anything more than buy a stolen laptop two years ago. It is disgusting that the media has besmirched a student-athlete the way they have. He may be guilty of a lot more. I don't know. But until there is proof, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Denard didn't finish the way he started because he ran up sick numbers against AWFUL defense. As soon as he played any legit defenses he was not very good with the exception of a couple of games.
Like Cam vs CU, MSU, and Alabama?

It's going to suck for you to see Newton raking in the millions and probably having a pretty successful NFL career isn't it?
He's not that bad of a person, but yeah, whatever, 13 moving violations, yeah.

he had 13 parking tickets all but one paid for. his father never got any cash and his cheating was proven false.

Denard Robinson folded like a cheap lawn chair and cost his team games, and you just cannot cost your team games and expect to be in the Heisman conversation. It just doesn't happen.

I think it is disgusting that Slive gave Cam Newton preferential treatment. Cecil violated a SEC bylaw, and it is very, very naive to believe Cam Newton knew nothing about it.

rangers I know where you are coming from, but he's already made up his mind about how it all went down and nothing anybody says will change his mind. It's ironic because he cited a "mob mentality" and a lack of integrity in voting for Cam.
Saying that integrity equals not voting for a guy based on what might happen is pretty funny in my book.

Alabama
Cam had a 205 passer rating against Bama.
His numbers against MSU and Clemson weren't bad at all either. It isn't bad that he improved dramatically as the year went on.

I absolutely believe that he bought the laptop.

Apparently be bought a stolen laptop out of the trunk of some dude's car that was also selling clothes out of the trunk of that car. He obviously had suspicions that thing was stolen because he absolutely chunked it out the window.
Either way, and once again I say this with full knowledge you guys will laugh at me, but if you just listen to the guy talk you can tell he's grown up a lot of that incident humbled him a little bit.
Feel free to laugh at that, I know you will, but it's true.

soooooooooo... you normally give people that have sped so many times that they have lost their license... becasue they have THIRTEEN traffic tickets (clearly the rules apply to him)... the benefit of the doubt?
you normally give people that knowingly buy around $1,000 dollars worth of stolen property the benefit of the doubt?
you normally give someone that has cheated at school the benefit of the doubt?
you normally give someone that did ALL three of those things the benefit of the doubt?
you'd be a HORRIBLE hiring manager.

I'm pretty sure nobody ever confirmed those cheating accusations, and Florida came out and said that they were never approached with any official or unofficial accounts of academic misdoings.
So, it's a stretch to cite that as a fact.

FACE it guys... you dumbasses blindly support him because he's a football player... YOUR football player. if this guy were just an average joe on the street, your opinion of him would be TOTALLY fricking different.
IF YOU DON'T ADMIT THAT, you're a fricking liar or you've lied so much about this situation that you're lying to yourselves.
period.

i know what his story is. The police report states that he said that he was heard saying that he saw the laptop and just grabbed it.
Of course his lawyers are going to say he bought the laptop from someone else, that is what they are paid for.
He deserves the Heisman because he is the best player in college football. It isn't up to the voters to determine his eligibility.

no, it's not actually. and i'm shocked you aren't already aware of why it's not a stretch. florida's policy is to not pursue someone that has already dis-enrolled. the proof was there against cam, but it was dismissed because it didn't matter from UF's side.
