Let's put it this way: Arkansas's offense is better than LSU's in most categories; the exception being rushing offense.

LSU's defense way better than Arkansas's in all categories. In most cases it's not even close.

LSU's special teams is better than Arkansas's in all but one category...and LSU is right below them by percentage points.

So LSU is better than Arkansas in two of the three units on the field at any one time.

Given that LSU QB Jordan Jefferson is the SEC's offensive player of the week, I think LSU takes this game by ten points.

Historically, LSU has had trouble holding Petrino's offense to under 30 points. Our offense is better than last year and is MUCH better than our last meeting in LR when a bad 4-7 Ark team STILL scored 31 points.

You mean the past two years right. Lol. Petrino is a good offensive coach. It should be a good game. I feel pretty confident that it will be close.

The line isn't an indication of who people running some sportsbook think will win a game. It is an indication of what people who are willing to bet money think will happen, which is unbelievably accurate in most cases.

Agreed! That's also why I'm holding off, hoping the line will fall to 3 (or below)

LSU has only faced 3 offenses all season in the top 50 in passing. Against those 3 offenses they averaged giving up 252 yards/game against UNC, Alabama, and the vols. Color me unimpressed with their "vaunted" pass defense.

One of those games was like a 470 yard performance where our whole secondary sans PP7 and Taylor had either 2 games or no game experience on the college level.

It was somewhere around 18-24 freshman true and redshirts.

Would you be impressed if I told you they are 3-0 against teams in the top 50 in passing?

Moral Victory

So yardage is what wins games?

Weird, I thought it was points.
