It said it is a violation. It did not mention a punishment. No one has put 2 and 2 together from what I have seen. Probably since solicitation only has NEVER resulted in being ruled ineligible.

wonder who the alleged guy is that cam called and told this to? This info would end speculation for sure..
According to a separate ESPN report, Cam Newton phoned another recruiter and apologized for not going to Mississippi State, saying that his father had committed him to Auburn because, “the money was too much.” If any part of that beyond the “call to apologize” is true, Newton and Auburn could see this season, and many seasons to come, go up in flames.
