Because his stats don't warrant AA status

AJ Green:
53 catches for 803 yards and 6 TD's
Julio Jones:
43 catches for 596 yards and 4 TD's
Greg Childs:
48 catches for 898 yards and 7 TD's
If I listed it as 'SEC Games Only', Childs numbers dwarf those of Jones and Green.

You can also look at it and say the defense won the game, or Todd lost it with his huge mistakes.
Also, Arenas also played a big part in field position.
Anybody could have made those catches Julio made on the last drive, especially with Neiko covering him. He got burned more than any of Auburn's DBs combined.

Darvin Adams > all except AJ.
60 catches 997 yards and 10 touchdowns.
And unlike Childs and Jones, he didn't drop the ball nearly ten times.

I don't see any linemen for UGA on those all american lists....
Just because UGA has one guy that is well suited for the 3-4 doesn't mean the whole team is...
then you might want to look again.
clint boling was on 3rd team AA and clint boling, ben jones, cordy glen and chris davis were on the all SEC team

He was referring to Dlinemen, in response to my post that we don't have the personnel to run a 3-4 in year one.

Maybe he understands what offense JJ plays in and the handicap at QB?
I still wouldn't take Adams over JJ...

I think it's the first week in June. Maybe around the 7th or 8th or something.

He's just so overrated. I mean yeah he's big and physical and he can block.
But recievers are supposed to be able to catch.
I am not ready to call him a bust yet or overrated. I want to see if this was a sophmore slump or will he just never be able to reliably catch the football, but I will say this for him to be 1st team and Marcel Dareus not to get second team seems wrong to me.

And all PP does is lose to Bama. Who is the better player doesn't mean shite if you lose...

it does when you get drafted. JJ has to step up this yr. He has all of the physical tools needed, but someone needs to teach him how to get open. He was getting open his freshman yr.

JJ's prob is between his ears. His receivers coach can make him an AA.
Ps. JJ was big big in the AU,LSU games. To say anything else will only show envy.

But in the college game, which I was referring to, it doesn't mean anything.
JJ gets open often, GMac just misses him because he is slow on his reads.
JJ will never be a 1400 yard WR with the offense Bama runs, it just will never be focused on him.

Based on PROJECTION, I'd have Julio as an AA too. I'd take Julio as my wide receiver no matter who my team was. He's going to be the leading receiver for just about any team he plays on. He may not be THE best receiver out there, but he's definitely ONE OF the best. No other receiver in the country would have had significantly better stats than Julio did last year on that Bama team. Yes, he dropped a few balls. Some of them weren't very good passes either. Some were just drops. Show me a receiver who didn't drop some balls.
And why Dareus isn't getting more attention from the national media, I don't know. Most people near the program have seen that freight train coming for two years now. This is the year it comes barreling out of the tunnel.

WWJD?
What would Julio Do?
To answer your question, drop a pass.
