I actually worry less about Peterson when we play Alabama, due to Julio being on the field.

And he will shut him out again this year.

Like his freshman year when Julio went off for 150+ and beasted PP in OT? Or by 'shut him out' you mean limit him for parts of the game, but then quit and watch from the sideline as Julio goes off and wins the game like this year? We must have a different understanding of 'shut out.'

While being covered by PP, JJ had 3 catches for 29 yards.

Not to mention the interception that wasn't counted.

Ok, so what was that like half a game? He was good for three first downs which isn't bad against this God-like figure LSU seems to have. And then he proceeded to make the biggest plays of the game. Maybe you're just still having nightmares about Julio catching pass after pass after pass against Auburn in the 4th quarter?

He didn't do shite last year while PP was covering him,

So it's Julio's fault that PP kept getting menstrual cramps in key moments of the game. Also, the other Alabama WRs were WIDE OPEN all day long against LSU. If Bama had a competent QB that day, the Bayou Bengals would have been blown out. It wouldn't matter much if Julio Jones gets shutout but Maze, Hanks and the TEs puts up big numbers.

Well LSU had Jarret Lee at quarterback..

And it doesn't matter what Maze or Hanks do, we're talking about PP and JJ.

The matchup is Julio vs PP correct? That's the matchup going into the game people talk about. Who performed better in the two games they've played against each other? Julio's gone over 100 yards both times.

PP and his LSU teammates folded at the most crucial moments of that game. I've never seen so many players leave with cramps. It wasn't even that hot. What a bunch of women.

The first game yes, PP wasn't cramped. Julio torched him.

But the second game while PP wasn't cramping JJ didn't do shite.

I've already said that.

Julio going over 100 yards in the second game had nothing to do with PP because he wasn't in the game.

So it's pretty much even. PP 1 JJ 1

But PP is still badass. And i'm stickin by my statement, PP will shut down JJ this year.

Let's compare the two careers so far:

Head to head wins: Julio 2, PP 0
SEC West titles: Julio 2, PP 0
SEC titles: Julio 1, PP 0
National titles: Julio 1, PP 0
BCS Bowls: Julio 2, PP 0
BCS Bowl wins: Julio 1, PP 0
# of wins: Julio 26, PP 17

Wow...Julio is one hell of an athlete to do all that by himself.

Its not Julio's fault that PP had cramps. Who performed better in the two games? Impossible to answer PP.
