Who has the best defense in the SEC in 2010?

Florida and Alabama have been #1 and #2 for the past 2 years.
Alabama's defense loses 9 players, and Florida's loses 6, so both teams have a lot of work to do on that side of the ball, especially since a lot of those players will be getting drafted. That's a lot of talent to replace.
So which team fills the void and plays the best defense in the conference next year? Someone else? Or do Florida and Alabama continue to dominate the conference?

Florida because they face weaker offenses

Auburn and Arkansas obviously

I think it'll be between Florida, Alabama, and LSU again for top defense.

Cocks were # 3 last year. We lose Norwood, Geathers, Pepper and Stewart -- but bring a bunch of experienced people back.
If we can put together a half-decent offense to take some pressure off, Ellis Johnson's D might be even better.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ole Miss or Bama up there, but the front runner is LSU.

FAIL
the only reason Old Miss will have any kind of defensive numbers is because of their cupcake fricking schedule. They will finish last in the SEC West. book it.

It's real hard to say. Alabama - Florida and LSU are always on everyone's lips because they reload. However, a lot can be said for EXPERIENCE in the SEC, and the teams with experience & talent will be on top IMHO.
LSU was horrible attimes than last season, so they have to be better.

I was thinking South Carolina might have a chance, but IDK.
I'm going to go with:
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. South Carolina
4. Florida

I altered to "at times" - but you have to agree it was not a typical LSU defense...
Louisianna Tech - time of possession 36:20 / 322 yards with 178 on the ground?
Washington - time of possession 36:52 / 478 total yards with 328 thru air & 157 on ground?
Mississippi - time of possession 33:36 / 426 total yards with 193 on the ground?

I love it when other teams keep bringing this up and assuming it will completely diminish Bama's defensive prowess.
