A couple of these guys think so.

My personal favorite quote:

quote:

i just watched "the u" on espn last night and saw some major similarities between the start of their dominant run and our current situation.

That's interesting. So does Tennessee also happen to reside in what is probably the most fertile three county recruiting area in the country?

No one will ever match what Miami was able to accomplish in the 80s and early 90s. No one.

Vols have a chance if they continue their cheating ways.

Cheating:

Miami - Check
Vols - Check

Associated with a rapper or rap group

Miami - check
Vols - check

That dude may be on to something.

the u could do it again if they cut off that area again. It would be as extreme with the swagga but it would be close

I hope so.

With Lane at the helm, almost anything is possible.

Hell no.

That said, the U show last night was pretty good. Those teams had some unreal talent from having South Florida (Dade, Broward, Palm counties) on lock down. Then they were PISSED off. Not a pretty combination. They beat themselves several times from being overconfident, but when they got pissed, they put some epic beatdowns on some teams. That 58-7 arse-kicking against Notre Dame was bad, but the Cotton Bowl Game against Texas at 33-3 could have beed 60-0. That was just nuts seeing Miami with 200+ yards in penalties and 10+ personal fouls.

I don't think it is possible to cheat as much as that team did and not get caught anymore so doubtful.

Like Cromarie from FSU who could read at the 5th grade level. I hope his agent is honest.

So, Knoxvegas is a war zone with riots and drug traffic....ummm, on second thought, we are talking about some on their football team!

Please, there will NEVER be another "U" run.

Yeah thats what im thinking.. if UT decides to great a "State of UT" like Miami did in South Florida.. by all means UT can go ahead and focus on TN high school athletes.

Just one problem with that theory.

UM began that run with a competent coach.

I hate Miami even more after watching their crap on ESPN last night. Too bad they didn't show their overconfident asses getting pounded in the 1993 Sugar Bowl, or Lamar Thomas, who's still a dick, getting his arse owned by George Teague.

Big difference,Miami used real guns,not a pellet gun,and a get-away Prius.
