i don't know why but watching mccoy and mack brown try to spin that last second debacle in the big 12 champ game just pisses me off. i hope bama runs up the score on them.

My sister works in the UT athletic dept, as a trainer. I've met several players, been to the UT football banquet (last year), went to longhorn practices last year.

Any SEC fan that doesn't root for their Conference is a frickin douchebag. Especially against Texico, the same Texican fans that have made fun of LSU forever...

Uh. Texas isn't even close to team of the decade. And, UF cemented itself as the team of the decade this year by winning 12 games already while USC has 4 losses and LSU has 3.

I am torn as to whom I will root for at this point. I have friends and family ties to UT, none to Bama. I even applied to and was accepted to UT for undergrad, did not remotely consider applying to Bama.
If Bama were playing any of the usual suspects; Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, etc. the choice would be easy, conference first. If Bama were playing a school from the north, the choice would be easy, south first. But Bama is playing a school from the south that I actually like more than Alabama. I should also note that I have despised Bama since inception, as my father is a proud LSU grad. Oh well, I guess I still have a month to figure it out.
