Virginia Tech is a pretty good team. Can't take that one away from Bama.

This is a very astute analysis.
After all, Auburn played a close game with Tennessee, yet Alabama has a defense easily as good as (if not better than) Tennessee's and an offense that looks NFL-like when compared to the Crompton-led Vols.
