I know we've got a few questions on the Oline and new QB. But has everyone forgotten that about 10 of our 12 wins were pretty much cakewalks? The games for the most part were pretty well decided by the end of the 3rd quarter. There were a couple that we let teams back in, but we finished I think 63rd in total offense last year. I don't see that much drop with what we have returning talentwise.

Ok I don't want to sound like an arse, but 10 of the 12 were NOT cakewalks. I couldn't even watch the last few minutes of atleast 4.

Tulane wasn't a cakewalk. That was a stressfull game(to me atleast), Kentucky(no cakewalk), ole miss(first half was SO much better than the second half...not a cakewalk), LSU(No where near being a cakewalk)

The score in the Georgia game was closer than the actual game, but still too close for my comfort zone.

All that really matters was that we won those games, but several of them were NOT cakewalks.

The game was never in question, despite the offense struggling.

This game wasn't in question really either. 10 point lead with just a couple of minutes left.

This game was decided in the first half. After Cody went down, the wind was out of our sails and it was close at the end.

We cakewalked the 2nd half. Having a 31 point lead at halftime..having a bit of a letdown was to be expected in the second half. Still won by double digits.

Yes but even though tulane was "never in question" it was still a tough game due to the offense struggling.

Kentucky may not have been in question, but we struggled that day and it wasn't easy.

Same with ole miss. We struggled that day and it took our defense to hold them back. It wasn't an easy game

I don't even need to talk about LSU.

The point is, we struggled in those games. I don't consider a game where a team struggles like that and has a score THAT close a cakewalk. I may be alone in this kind of thinking, but it's just my opinion.

I agree we didn't look good in them games. I probably should have reworded my statement to just say that in 10 of the 12 wins, the outcome wasn't in question at all. Lsu and Ole Miss. And I don't believe Ole Miss would have been remotely close had Cody not gone out in that game.

The 1970's ended 30 years ago and by your logic we should all envy Yale because they have more national titles than anyone
