Peria Jerry was a huge key to our success last year, but you don't get beat 31-13 by a single Defensive tackle.
Peria dominated that game, though.
He was being held the entire time. I've seen video of him being held by white dude and tackling charles scott a yard deep with one arm.

I can't honestly tell you what happened in that game. It's one of those things that simply should not have happened. Our offense WAS completely shut down by a single DT. On the other side, I was actually impressed with the way our defense handled most situations. Snead just made some incredibly sick throws that I don't think any other QB in the country could have made. Hell, HE shouldn't have made them, but the placement was nothing short of perfect.

If Snead or Jerry don't have the games they did, I honestly think that game goes the other way.

Jerry could have had a bad day, and we still would have won.
If Snead has an average day and Jerry has an average day, it would have been a toss up.
If Snead has a bad day, you probably would have won.

People underestimate how good the rest of our defense is.
Our Db's started out the season crappy, but by the end of the year, they were among the best in the country. One of the reasons is that Marshay Green was a WR the year before and was playing corner for the first time in his life.

or Wallace
or Hodge
or Bolden
or Eason
or Hardy
or Lewis
or Oher
or Lockett
or anyone on our team

We dominated in every aspect of the game.
