Both teams have the best rosters from top to bottom and are getting hot at the right time. Possible rematch of 2023 if the brackets are set properly.

Other top seeded teams to consider….
Arky & Tenn - going through a end of season slump

Texas - Not enough offense and haven’t had challenges on the road so not prepared for Omaha

Aggies - although improved still don’t have it all together to go deep in the post season

They've only lost 2 conference games. They are 5 games ahead of 2nd place.

I see LSU getting to Omaha but to get to the Championship series we will have to get some consistency out of our relievers. Outside of Anderson, Eyanson (at time), Evans and Cowan we are not consistent at all.. Bats also have to stay hot like they were yesterday

“Texas didn’t get swept by Auburn on the road, so they’re not ready for Omaha”

UF doesn’t have the pitching boss. We will be grateful to make a super regional.

Let’s look at our record against teams that are currently in the top 5

8-1

Let’s look at yours

1-5

Home field advantage matters but for that to be your sole argument is weak as hell.

Silly. Omaha is practically Texas' home stadium.

Which says we will be in Omaha and then its a toss up. Hilarious that just because we haven't played on the road you act like in 50 games we are not a tested team.

Again, all we heard was the SEC is a grind, every series and every game is a so much more difficult than anything we have ever faced. Now you are moving the goal post (sounds just like what they said about football. Since you can't attack our strength of schedule or RPI which is #1 - #4 depending on what you follow (at worst Walter Nolan has us #19) you try and attack our away game schedule.

Maybe we win this year maybe we don't, if you give me odds of Texas winning vs the field I would take the field.

However, just accept we hav e crushed the SEC this year (to date) and are legit. You had your shot LSU and you lost as well.

Poor Texas can’t accept the fact that the drought will continue. 20 years must be really really tough to cope with

Funny how Texas gets the home/away schedule so conveniently slanted. I wonder how they do this?

The SEC is not nearly as talented this years as it has been in many other seasons. Congrats on the mid season championship. Now you have almost as many as the Aggies who nearly win one every season lol

LSU Fans:

Tuesday (run ruled by NSU): season is over
Friday (innings 1-8): Fire Jay
Friday (9th inning): this team turned the corner
Saturday: this team isn’t sniffing Omaha
Sunday: this team is winning it all
