come June. We’ve seen a recent improvement in hitting and a new solid 3rd starter.

If the bats stay consistent, maybe, but the relief pitching, with exception of Cowan and Evans, has been sub par. If you have to use Cowan and Evans in a tandem starting role then you have no one out of the bullpen that has been consistent.

A single data point does not make a trend…

I am cheering hard for the Tigers but I am much more cautious about claiming an uptick. Two of the games this weekend LSU did not have a hit before the 5th inning. Timely hitting was better.

Evans was certainly a huge find if he keeps it up. Bullpen is still a problem
