No way he's an act. As best I can recall, he's the only SEC head coach who has been suspended .......not ejected, suspended.....for running into an ump. And has had multiple players, over the years, ejected for dog cussing an umpire.

Vitello himself has toned it down a lot. I actually don’t dislike him. He’s a very good coach.
