only thing worse than the fans are the announcers which keep trying to prop up the atmosphere. These fans were absolutley dead until about with 1 or 2 outs in the top of the 9th.
If this was at Blue Bell Park, it would've been a non-stop frenzy for 9 innings.

It is the only thing going in Austin.
Local corporations buy up all the tickets and give them out as perks to people that don't really care about the university.
Normally that would be done for pro sports teams, but there are none in Austin.

There was an Aggie fan yesterday say the umps were good in the game and fair to both teams. now we are getting it handed to us according to a bored alter loser.

We sell beer at the games.
And that’s not tea they are sippin’, it’s whiskey. And wine and margaritas and Tito’s and who knows what. Decent food kiosks all over the place, not just a dog and a beer.
In Austin, our SEC opponents have scored 4 runs in only 3 of 11 games, and scored 16 runs total in the other 8 games. All the strikeouts and 390’ fly balls dying on the warning track tends to quiet the crowd down, as you saw.
We just don’t don’t go ballistic for no reason.
