I don't know if and how prayer works, but I have a special request of all people that I'm associated with. I have a dear friend who's been diagnosed with lung cancer and hate to see her going through this. My brother, who was my best friend, died from lung cancer, as well as my dear mother-in-law, all non-smokers. This is a horrible disease that seems to be on the rise among people who have done all of the right things. If you're a praying person, please keep my friend included. Thanks.

I will keep this in my prayers. My next door neighbor died of lung cancer, and my best friend's wife died of breast cancer last week, funeral on saturday in athens. Cancer is a complete shite show. I am very sorry to hear this.

Father God, I pray for Hunterdawgs close friend, I pray that you wrap your arms around her that you give her doctors wisdom in treatment, that you give her body strength. I pray for miraculous healing if that’s your will I pray that you comfort her, her family and her friends throughout this I pray this in Your Son of Jesus’s Holy name amen.

Thank you for feeling comfortable sharing this real life situation with those on the internet, it’s easy to forget behind keyboards we are all human beings.

Praying. You may not believe it, but God has a plan and He is there. Embrace Him and take comfort from Him.
Lord, may your will be done, and may you comfort Hunterdawg’s friend and those who love him. If you will it, raise him back to health.

Sometimes prayer strengthens others, sometimes it strengthens us to better accept His will, especially when things are difficult.
It doesn't have to make sense, or miraculously change your situation, but it can give you peace as you (and we all) go through this.
Try it, and in time, you'll somehow know exactly what to say.
