While I do realize we lost this week to Oral Roberts a World Series team two years ago in our home state with our 6th pitcher , Missouri lost 11-1 to Missouri state a sec team got run ruled by a team that has a record of 21-18.
Last years Missouri basketball team was winless in sec play and when you didn’t think it could get worse ….it has

I don’t think Mizzou fans even realize that they have a baseball team. Doubt many are upset over this.

Such a gift to play them this year
You’re auto guaranteed 3 wins . A huge advantage for the teams playing them in series this season

this isn't the week to talk shite if youre an lsu fan,so I'm gonna stay away from this one. we just got run ruled for the first time in program history to an in state midweek opponent.
i think we bounce back and play much better against Tennessee this weekend though. this lsu team is kind of made in a way where you can lose a midweek game and then look like the best team in the nation on the weekend ,due to our pitching.
we have dominant pitching with our best 4 pitchers ,two are starters and then we have a long releiver and a closer.
we are really tough to beat on Fridays and Saturdays as long as we hit the ball decent. we usually try to get 6 or 7 innings out of our Friday guy. and if the game is within a run or two we can go to our closer if it's the 7th or 8th inning ,if it's the 5th or 6th inning and it's close we will go to our long releiver. Saturday we try to get the 6 or 7 innings out of our starter and then go to whoever out of the two releivers we haven't used yet.
neither releiver has ever relinquished a lead .
Sunday we were using a guy that throws 100 and looks the part but he's just been a bit off after his tj surgery so last week we used a different guy as the starter and brought our Sunday guy in next. we as fans have no clue what to expect regarding Sundays pitching plan right now.
I'm curious what other schools pitching plan has been this year. how many guys can yall count on and how many are starters? would yall consider having 4 dominant guys and a bunch of inconsistent bullpen arms as a lot or would you rather have a bunch of above average but not dominant pitchers.
if you look on tiger rant you will see people just destroying the pitching coach and bullpen. I try to remind them that we're 2nd in era or that we were if we're not anymore .
that should mean that college pitching bullpens are usually all inconsistent.
every game we lose has been low scoring so I don't understand why our fans are freaking out. I don't think they pay attention to anybodies staff we play against. either that or our top 4 pitchers are so good that it skews the staffs era and makes it seem like we're better than we are.
id say numbers don't lie though.

First off, their team is bad. The coaches use players in midweek games that don't get to play in the weekend games. They are usually worse than the weekend players. If your midweek team is worse than your weekend team that is really bad.....you get run ruled midweek. That's how it goes.

Missouri State baseball is not as good as they once were but over the last 20+ years have been a superior program all around. Been to the World Series, knocked Arky out a few years ago in Baum.

Has Missouri ever won a title in a major sport? If/when college sports move to a super league, Missouri will most certainly be left out.

Missouri is bad and their fans don't care about Tiger baseball. It's crazy because Missouri could have a great roster of in state kids every season.
Two other points.
Missouri St is usually tough out for anyone and have had a solid program for years.
No SEC baseball programs take these games serious. Mid week games are for developing bench players and pitchers. Sure, it's a little embarrassing, but even the pollsters don't care.

I hope Mizz gets the monkey off their back soon.
When do they play SCar b/c that could be their best chance.

I forget that schools exists except for when they beat us in baseball. They do have a better baseball program than us. But then again, so does pretty much everybody.
