Texas baseball gets to play weaker SEC teams on the road and gets the better teams at home

plus it avoids Tennessee...is this luck of the scheduling, or is the SEC trying to prop them up with a favorable schedule like it did for football?
Granted, they will finally get a road test in a few weeks when they play at Arkansas...

Texas & LSU play almost identical schedules..
I posted this a few weeks ago and haven't updated it.. but I'll do that now.
Updated.
Are they the same? No. Are they comparable? 100% yes.

Definitely a conspiracy. Must be investigated!

Not to mention back-to-back total cupcake schedules in football, their first two seasons coming in. Their strength schedule was ranked dead last in the conference last year. Texas needs these easy ways to get through the daddy SEC otherwise it would be very ugly

The SEC office definitely did them a favor with their baseball and football schedules but they also did Ole Miss a favor giving us easy schedules in both. Texas took advantage of it and made ATL and the Playoff and they'll be a National Seed in baseball. Anyone can get an easy schedule some years but good teams take advantage of it. We'll be a borderline Regional host team. Also when Ole Miss played them to start the season you could tell Schloss had some fricking dudes in both the bullpen and in the batter's box.

LSU has played the easiest schedule in the SEC thus far, this is weak.
Based off preseason polls LSU had away matchups with:
#19 Texas
Unranked Auburn
Unranked Oklahoma
#1 A&M
#5 Tennessee
Unranked South Carolina
Sorry Texas and Auburn exceeded preseason expectations and handed you 5 losses.

Except Tennessee is objectively much better than Georgia.
And Alabama is only 20 spots higher than Florida in the RPI.
Otherwise, almost identical.

Georgia is #1 in RPI and Tennessee is #12. Tennessee is better on paper but they're not playing like a team that is objectively much better.

Florida started the year #10 and Alabama was unranked. I guess Sankey knew this was going to happen when he gave us our easy schedule

This is typical red leg behavior. Whining about someone (in a topic that is totally unrelated) to the cops.

You cannot stop LSU from complaining about schedules. It is not possible.

no

6 common opponents
+ each other
+ Georgia/Tennessee at home
+ Florida/Alabama at home
+ Kentucky/S Carolina on the road
How is that not comparable?

Georgia is #1 in the RPI, #6 in the ELO
Tennessee is #12 in the RPI, #9 in the ELO
As for Florida.. that one is tricky, but I'd rather play Alabama right now than Florida. Alabama has lost 3 straight series and 4 of the last 5.

54 < 72
60 < 76
So, yeah that are almost identical.

Unless Texas win the series I suspect. Then it doesn't count.

and in a 4 game bubble..
Texas plays LSU and @ Arkansas
LSU plays Arkansas and @ Texas
How is that portion not comparable?
eta: oh you added a qualifier "To Date"

You wouldn't need to do that if you didn't agree. Case closed.
