His timing was terrible. Most of the P4 already had their QBs, and there were few left, so he could not leverage one against the other for more money. I would have stuck it out at Tennessee under Hep and only asked for a reasonable increase.

Go watch the Alabama vs Tennessee game last year. It was a game featuring some of the worst QB play I've seen in a long time and it was as if both were competing for the honor.
Eventually Nico threw a TD pass in the 4th, so Milroe took the honor of worst QB play in the game. However, it was really Sampson who made the drive happen along with a defensive penalty on Alabama.
It was terrible on both sides.

I watched the game, but I mostly remember it for Milroe. Man, was he terrible.
