McFadden was better than both of those clowns and Arkansas didn't retire his number.

Yours is currently really bad

Arkansas has 2 retired numbers, #12 Clyde Scott and #77 Brandon Burlsworth. #12 was brought out of retirement for Steve Little to wear then retired again.
You would think Colorado has had more significant players than those two.

They retired Rashaan Salaam’s number for winning the Heisman so Hunter’s is somewhat ok. However it took them 20+ years and Salaam’s death before they did that so this is still sketchy.

Colorado has several players that accomplished much more from previous decades without retiring their numbers - so they are sitting there shaking their heads.
This whole thing is rushed, and obviously centered around letting Shedeur ride in behind Hunter.

Travis Hunter looks like a Neanderthal.

Travis was a beast in college, if that’s your take on him that says a lot about you.

Yes, I don't resemble a Neanderthal.

I think it has less to do with the record and more to do with the outstanding players.

Didn’t know this. I thought they did retire it

I could kind of understand McFadden but Deion's kid? Who is actually just a midling QB?
Doing this for a Heisman winner, I don't have a problem with.

Tim Mafrickin Tebow’s number is still worn by every clown qb to come through Gainesville.

Really, who cares? Move on.

What ever you think about this, The Buffs are at least relevant again. Any attention they get is welcome. It’s their program if they want to do this.

Deion is a shameless self-promoter if nothing else.
Also retiring numbers is stupid. A recruit might want to wear that number. Build him a statue or put him in a ring of honor or something.

Clyde Scott and Brandon Burlsworth are the only two to have numbers retired. 12 and 77.
Both had a huge impact on Arkansas that is beyond football.
