It just seems like yesterday that our fine gridiron lads would finally have some spending money as big business would swoop down and financially help the downtrodden pay their bills and somehow make a full ride in football a little more bearable.
15 minutes later, the entire concept morphed into play for pay, with boosters now promising great wealth and prosperity through brand new "collectives" if you just come and play for us. Suddenly, fans and boosters, and not big businesses, were now footing the NIL bill that comes due almost weekly.
Now, just a few months later and with greed traveling at the speed of light, I believe there is an actual equation for that math, the athletes in the room have taken over the insane asylum that is now college football and it ain't pretty. Now, who's the downtrodden and oppressed? Stay tuned, the next version of the Jackson Barrett Auction for Runaway NILs is about to open. Happy "Collectives" everyone.

The fans are now the downtrodden. The yearly shifting of rosters and some schools tampering by offering money sucks.
Players should have to sign contracts. Tampering should be penalized. If players get paid then do it like the NFL and NBA.
