Mo is an NBA talent I can’t blame him for wanting more playing time.

Mo is a head scratcher. He’s a fan favorite and was productive with his minutes. His three pointer improved as the season went along and would have led to more minutes next year.

I think he doesn't fit in the offense. There's not much of a 'plan' for offense inside the perimeter, other than dribble in and see what you can get, aka beastmode. Not sure what the answer is. I like Oats and he's obviously been very successful, but I've never really liked the overall offensive philosophy. But I'm not a bball expert.

They was using Mo Dioubate just like they did Herb Jones offensively.
Folks out here talking about he doesn't FIT... Straight up crazy!

His 3pt shot improved a lot this year. He’s a good player who always gave a lot of effort. Unfortunately, some of Oats’ comments make me think he tries to get by on athletic ability and doesn’t put in the work in the boring stuff like reading the scouting and watching film on the opponent.

Oats ain't never said anything of that magnitude concerning Mo offensively!
He says sometimes Mo Dioubate isn't locked in to the scouting report DEFENSIVELY!

Right but it probably got hard to give him minutes if they felt like he couldn't be trusted to execute the game plan on defense. You can't be a scorer if you can't stay on the court.

I hear you but I disagree. Because at his worst, Mo still was one of the best defenders on the team

No, he's not. He's a good college effort guy that really isn't skilled. I know the fans love him, and I get it. But, if Oats thought he was a huge asset, Mo wouldn't be leaving.

Philon will get drafted. I would not count him in. Wish we could, but…
Posted on 4/4/25 at 9:36 pm to AbSnopes
Not really counting him so much as leaving him on here until he declares.

Wishcasting on that one but the fact rumors say we are targeting an elite guard makes me think Philon gone.

He is.
He'll be a left handed Draymond Green.

This depends on your definition of “huge.” If it’s Trump’s “yuge,” then he is a “yuge asset” and absolutely we were trying to keep him and paid up more than once to do so.
If it’s 1st rounder in NBA with a 10yr career “huge,” well then no, it isn’t a loss of a “huge asset.” But he was definitely developing into more than just a “college effort” guy. He literally had his own offensive package named for him. College effort guys don’t get offensive packages designed to get them points.

Ok guys, I give up. You're right. Mo is basically irreplaceable. If we wanted another smallish, fairly athletic 4, with mediocre handles and an ok set shot from 3, that plays hard, is a good, but not elite, defender, and a good rebounder, for his size, we could never get one. Oats is probably crying in his Wheaties this morning, wishing he could have given Mo a couple of million dollars to come off the bench for 15 minutes a game next year. I won't be surprised if Oats tries to follow Mo to his new team

You think Oats eats Wheaties? I always saw him as a Honey Bunches of Oats guy. Having a little chuckle as he pours the bowl.

Normally, he is a Honey Bunches of Oats guy. But, I figure he better eat his Wheaties for life without Mo.
