1-3 since he took the job at Bama.

The fact that they’ve only played 4 such games shows how alarmingly easy their tournament paths have been… but to have more losses to 11 seeds than wins against seeds 1-5 is a testament to how badly Oats chokes in the postseason when he has to face decent competition.

Those 3 losses have come by an average of 14 points. Yikes.

UA has done quite well the last few years, in a very competitive conference.

I'd take their success vs. what LSUseless has done.

The only ugly games/losses have been UConn and Duke.

I still don’t know why Auburn fans can’t enjoy the final four without continuing to obsess over Alabama’s draw in the tournament. Wait….yes I do. The little brother is strong.

I get it. Auburn had to deal with hearing Yale jokes and watching Alabama make the final four within a two week span last year.

Losing to a team with three lottery picks that is the betting favorite to win it all and the strongest team of the KenPom era - it just doesn’t have the same sting. Congrats on the final four though.

The last time we played,we beat your arse at home on your senior night.

idk about other Bama fans, but considering the struggles over the years, making it to the tournament every year and winning 11 tournament games has been pretty awesome IMO. No complaints here.

You made the final four as the number one overall seed. With a team that is 1-1 against Alabama and 1-2 against the other final four teams. Alabama has two wins against the final four teams. Tell me how Oats can’t beat a good team.

Pearl is boom or bust with the tournament - either the final four or a first weekend exit. So Auburn fans have to target Oats making the sweet 16 and consistency as “he hasn’t beat anyone!”

Your team treats wins over Auburn like it’s the Super Bowl. And your jerk of a coach literally waved his hands in the air and taunted the Auburn crowd, and then you wonder why Auburn fans rub it back in your face.

I mean he went to the Final Four as a 4 seed and beat 1 seed UNC. The loss to SDSU as a 1 seed was bad but that team went on to the national championship so they were obviously playing well at the time.

I don’t get blaming teams for playing lower seeds when they’re a high seed… that’s why you want the high seed in the first place.

Because Auburn fans are the worst at dishing it and yet not being able to take it.

They’re a weak bunch.

So 1-3. And San Diego State was a 5 seed, not a 4.

How the hell can you knock the program Oates has built?

Don’t be insecure by focusing on Bama.

Oates is a slayer.

Nate Oats is a scumbag and Alabama has had some decently easy roads during the NCAAT recently, but he’s still a great head coach. Alabama is always a threat to make a run in March.

Oats has a 3's and no D mentality that is better off in the pros. How manys games this year did their D bend over and take it? Just cant respect losers that do that.
