Mike Waltz is eager to go to War with Iran

This new piece of information paints a very interesting picture with Tom Cotton,Alex Wong, and Mike Waltz. With calls from Bill Kristol and other Neo Cons to remove Hegseth after this incident and replace him with Tom Cotton it looks like this was orchestrated to do just that...
"Even before the Signal leak, Mr. Waltz was on shaky footing, viewed as too hawkish by some of the president’s advisers and too eager to advocate for military action against Iran when the president himself has made clear he prefers to make a deal.
An association with Mr. Goldberg, however hazy, gave Mr. Waltz’s opponents more fuel to feed the skepticism.
Some of Mr. Trump’s closest allies have questioned whether Mr. Waltz, a former George W. Bush administration official, was compatible with the president’s foreign policy. Mr. Waltz had gotten crosswise with Mr. Vance and Ms. Wiles in policy discussions, particularly regarding Iran and their desire to hew to Mr. Trump’s preference, according to several people briefed on the matter."

This seems like “Exhibit A” for political theater

Never seen this clip before. I am back off the Mike Waltz train. You can tell he is lying here. "It gets sucked In"... Trump needs to fire him. He is a Neo Con piece of shite like I originally thought.

Cotton is a blackmailed Manchurian Candidate. He would have been the leading R Pres candidate the last decade if DJT hadnt blown up their entire machine.

Sounds like bleach bit…it just gets wiped…like with a rag.

They’re all dweebs. Investigate, convict or justify. Move on. We still have foreigners to remove.

Something is seriously going on if Trump does not Fire Mike Waltz. The dots are all starting to connect. I hope Susie Wiles and JD Vance are showing President Trump this information.

Prior rumors were they were gunning for Hegseth to replace him with Cotton, but the NSA is actually closer to the president than SecDef so maybe they intend to replace Waltz with Cotton. Given the connections between Waltz and Cotton (Wong for example) maybe Waltz is planning to resign and some will recommend Cotton to replace him. Table is set for Waltz to resign as he went on TV and took full responsibility for this. I'm sure they'll slide him over to a paid gig at the Institute for the Study of War or something like that, to keep his gravy train running.
If they slide Cotton in as NSA, I can see Hegseth resigning because he's probably going to get pushed to the side and treated like a subordinate errand boy and not a cabinet official. At some point the light will come on and he'll resign. Can also see Tulsi resigning as she will be isolated and kept away from Trump. They already sabotaged her pick for deputy because he wasn't an Israel-first guy. Cotton would try to push Trump toward war with Iran, as will Lindsey and all of the Israel-firsters.
I'm sure it's no coincidence that Lindsey was golfing with Trump. If Trump lets DC manipulate him like this again, his presidency is effectively over.

I'm not going to defend Waltz, but conservatives shouldn't base any opinions on anonymous sources from the NYT. Their entire goal is to create turmoil in the administration.

Both Cotton and Waltz are Deepstate NeoCons. Waltz was lying in that video.

Doesn't bother me having a hawk as an advisor, if he is still a team player, Trump makes the decisions, and hearing differing views is healthy.

Didn't Cotton turn down a role in this cabinet??

I read once where W bush ask daddy Bush what a neo con was. His reply was " think Israel ". Trump has some commitments to Israel. That is why he keeps these neo cons around. I am sure that is why he hired Mike waltz. If trump starts a war with Iran, his presidency is all but over.

In situations like this, Trump will do whatever the person who kisses his arse the most wants him to do.
