And can anyone explain the meaning of the Call God thing the Aubies are doing. Who are they telling to call God after they do something "great" on the courts? Are they dissing the other team. I recall in FB once when the opposing team got a cell number for one of Bama's players then that player would make the call me sign after he scored a TD. I think it was AJ vs LSU. But the Aubie thing is different.

UConn isn't in the Elite 8 field, that can only mean one thing. Alabama is about to win the whole damn thing!!!

Some of yall act like this is the US beating the Soviets. It’s not. Duke is good, but we have played many, many games at a level that would beat a good Duke performance. Yeah, our margin for error isn’t as big as it usually is, but it is not going to shock me if we win.

Love your enthusiasm, but not sure how much Duke basketball you’ve watched this year.
Vegas isn’t stupid, and they had us favored over BYU for a reason. It’s not that we can’t win, but it definitely isn’t the expected outcome. Have to play one of our best games and hope Duke is just a bit off. Need Stevenson to go full E8 on them like he did against Clemson last year and probably need Grant to replicate his 1 seed killing performance against UNC last year. It’s certainly possible!

Yeah that seems to be a theme. Saw it last night as well.
One would think you wouldn’t have ACC refs calling this game, but I believe there were SEC refs on the AU/UM last night.
Defensively, I think Bama will implement a similar game plan that they did against BYU. We need to run Duke off of the 3 point line, and force them to drive to the basket. Duke shoots as many 3s per possession as BYU, and they shoot a better %. The have taken 45.4% of their shots from 3 this year compared to 46.2% for Bama. The biggest difference is that Bama leads the nation in possessions while Duke sits at 274th.
