LSU went 8-13 and had not won a women's basketball tournament game in 8 years before hiring Kim Mulkey. Since then...
Mulkey:

This is embarrassing. Woodward killed LSU men's basketball so the non revenue women's basketball could take their place. Nobody gives a crap about women's basketball, but Woodward thought it was a good idea.

Outside of Bama and UGA, who in the SEC has a better football program? 3 titles in past 2 decades. LSU baseball is also top notch.

La Tech ran her off. She was being groomed by WBC legend Leon barmore. When he retired she wanted a 3 year deal. Tech being a national power would only agree to a 2 year deal. She left for Baylor. Now tech is an afterthought and mulky is a hall of fame level coach.
