Now the reality sets in that their coach for the foreseeable future is Mark Pope.

Have you noticed how their fans don’t act like blue bloods? They’ve been portraying themselves as this rags to riches story because Pope didn’t have any players when he got there.

It’s Kentucky! They’re a blue blood, they always get good players. Act like you’ve been there before Cats.

We'll be fine. Not concerned at all. Thanks for asking.

Saw their fans on X grading their season an A for finishing middle of the SEC and getting blown out in the sweet 16. Blue blood behavior!

Except we didn't have any players. We literally returned 0 points from the previous season. It's no exaggeration to say this was the least talented team of my lifetime.

Kentucky was in the Sweet 16 for the first time in six years. I’m not so sure Arkansas got the better coach out of the deal.

Looking at the big, with all the coaching changes aside, kentucky is middle of the pack now at best. Times have changed.

They beat a 14 and a 6, hogs beat a 7 and 2. We’re fine.

And you’re just any ole school right? Nothing about your program that would make getting players really easy?

It's a tie but both had terrible endings to the NCAA tournament.

I’m not a fan of losing, obviously. But with the injuries this team’s ceiling was a Sweet 16. I’m not going to be upset about that no matter how much other Rant posters hope I am.

We got past the first weekend hump we’ve had the last 6 seasons.

Kentucky should be happy with Pope. I just can't get around to liking Cal after so many years of being the enemy going back to his days at Memphis. It just feels dirty.

Is that supposed to be an excuse? We didn't either Cal brought some of HIS players from a previous stop same as Pope. Some of the players he was recruiting stayed with him same as Pope. He then filled the remaining spots with transfers same as Pope
