i think we made everyone stfu about whether the conference was overrated. we kicked the fricking door in as a conference. i don't know about us, but it feels like any of the rest of you could win it all.

Could be wrong but I feel like there was a Wimp Sanderson Alabama team in the 1980s that lost to Kentucky 4 times in a season.

Sweet 16 in Atlanta (lost 68-63)
Went 24-9 overall --- 24-5 vs everyone else, 0-4 vs Kentucky
Kentucky then turned around and lost to #11 seed LSU in the Elite Eight. They'd gone 3-0 against LSU up to that point, too. Almost 25% of Kentucky's games that season were against either Alabama or LSU.
