Figured I would start a thread since I haven't seen one yet.
I've heard good things about Jackson Arnold so far.
Also, Deuce is has been very impressive in 7 on 7 and his arm is farther ahead than what we thought it would be.
I really think RB is a concern. It's very much a committee approach, but was told not to sleep on Omar Mabson when he gets here.
I haven't heard much about the other positions, but I was told the OL actually looks like an SEC oline for the first time in years.

I thought the new guy from VT was hurt?

The injury is being taken care of and he'll miss spring but not even summer. From every report he'll be fine.

Who are the starters as of now?
I assume Lew is the center.

Boo, it's basketball season on the plains

For spring without Chaplin? I'd (GUESS) Miller, Wade,Lew, Wright, Murphy. But again, I (think) that's just the spring lineup

Is it Chaplin or Chapin?
How does RB room align?
RB1: Alston
RB2: Cobb
RB3: ?

Gotta be Henderson, right?
I talked to a buddy of mine and he said that he definitely looks the part of a RB even with his short stature (he's like 5'9"). Said his legs look solid as a fire hydrants.
I'm concerned about the level of competition he faced in HS, but we will see.

Durell Robinson, the UConn transfer running back will be in the mix. He was from St. Francis in Maryland. He is a sophomore. With Mabson now in the mix I wonder if one in the room transfers after spring.

Thanks for the thread smuphy.
Im really enthused by the options we have at OL. Lots of interchangeable parts. As corch has said, for the first time in a long while we will have some real competition in the spring versus a warm body.
I hope Perry Thompson has a coming out party.
Im very concerned about the lack of depth on the interior DL. If we cant pluck a good player or two in the portal.....save the money and roll with Crawford and Autry. They will be better than any mediocre fellas, they will get experience, and send a great message to recruits like Cleveland.

Yeah, I forgot about him.
The depth is there just from a numbers standpoint. Just not sure about how well those guys will play outside of Alston and Cobb. We know what they are pretty solid, bu I don't think either are going to draw much attention from opposing coordinators in how they will prep their defenses for Auburn games.

We underused a stud in Jarquez.
I dont know what the frick Smuphy is selling but I will never worry about RB again.

TE. Not sure we have the horses there to compete. These new QB’s are going to need a check down that can get open. The big kid #87 is the only experience we have there and he was hurt last year. Gonna need some transfers to step up.

Freeze's prime offenses held very forgettable running backs. Dont see an emergence of the RB coming at all.
