I assume the best is Florida. But let me take a stab at this, tell me where I am wrong. My ranking:

Based on your list I'm going to assume Florida are the only beaches you've ever been to before. The Atlantic beaches kind of suck unless you like hard sand and brown water.

I'm not saying Texas beaches are anything special but they're definitely better than Louisiana

Yeah, I think Louisiana is last on the list.
Top 2 for me are Florida and Alabama.

Maybe I’m bias because it’s my state but would take Orange Beach over an Atlantic coast beach. Not that those trips can’t be fun in those respective cities, but in terms of the actual beach I’m taking OB.

The beach at Tybee Island is freaking awesome!

Depends on what you mean? I live on Siesta Key, and we are typically voted the best beach in the US but it’s not that great. Yes it’s safe, yes the beaches are nice but If you want a beach with great food and a lot to do with the family, this isnt your place. If you want homes that start in the 7-8m+ on the beach then yes.
I’d say, orange beach or gulf shores. They are great white sand beaches with incredible food. They are also very patriotic where they have firework shows for 4th of July and other holidays. And they’re very affordable.

Mississippi has the beaches on the south side of Horn and Ship Island. Puts it above LA imo.

Yeah, Ship Island is not great, but it's better than Grande Isle.

The shitty beaches in Texas are no better than either one though. It amazes me that Texans spend money on beach houses in Galveston.

frick Orange Beach. I got stung by a stingray when I was a kid there.

It's probably Florida and Bama in the top 2, with Louisiana in last.

1. Florida
2. Alabama
3. Everybody else’s shitty brown beaches.
ETA: Most Florida Panhandle beaches should be Alabama’s but they were stolen.

South Carolina has some nice beaches if you stay away from Myrtle Beach.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach clears imo.
The sand in Florida is too granular for my liking.

Holly Beach is awesome. You might even find a dead body, if you look hard enough.
