Ooh that is a favorable bracket.

Have you watched your team play? An unfavorable bracket doesn't exist for that bunch

Also love the hilarity of an Indiana/North Carolina play in game

NIT Bound! It's about time..
Goodbye Terry. Best of luck!
eta: I just don't understand Oklahoma. 4-12 SEC Record and First 4 out.

A nightmare scenario for Bama would be a 2 seed in the South bracket with the amount of Auburn fans that have already bought up tickets in Atlanta.

He looked up after the Kentucky win and said nope this is going too good we gotta tank this thing. And by golly they did it!

I've read people say that the top 4 SEC have to be in separate regions, which would flip Michigan St. and Tennessee in this scenario. I don't know if that's an actual rule though.

No way they don't put us with Duke and St. Johns

I don't think that's a rule, but it may be. I know that the main rule they've discussed is the rules on # of times played vs how early you can play in the tournament.

The first four teams from the same conference are placed in different regions when they are among the top four seed lines.
Teams from the same conference cannot meet before the Elite Eight if they played each other three or more times.
When possible, rematches from the previous year’s tournament are avoided in the First Four and first round.

Looks like it is actually a rule if the top four teams from a conference are seeded as a #4 or better.

Good catch - I'm guessing that generally isn't a huge issue but they'll certainly have to work to get that all set up this year with the SEC.

I will be pissed if we get Gonzaga in the 2nd Round.

While Arkansas did not look good on Saturday, they still do not have a bad loss this season and have a head to head win over Georgia, whom you have as a 10 seed.
My opinion is that Arkansas is still in as of right now, but a play in team. It also must be considered that Arkansas is without it's leading scorer the last two games in Thiero.

Georgia is ahead of Arkansas in basically every category. Not by a lot, but consistently.
Q1 wins - same
Q1/2 wins - UGA
Q2 losses - UGA 0, Arkansas 3
Bad Losses - neither has one
Result Metrics - UGA
Predictive Metrics - UGA

I don' tknow anything at all about Texas Tech, but I do know for certain I'd much rather face them than any of the other 2 seeds.

They've impressed me every time I've watched them. They have a bunch of athletes, play really hard and can shoot. Anybody who wins a game against Houston in their hornets nest gym has my attention. I'd much prefer to play Michigan State than them.
They have had some injuries the last few weeks (had 2 of their best players out when they lost a close one at home to Houston), so I'm not sure what that situation is moving forward.

Gotta say, if we end up as a #2 seed... being in the same bracket as a team we already beat on a neutral court isn't the worst thing in the world.
If we do manage to beat Florida and Auburn (unlikely, I know, but still), do you think we move back to a #1 seed?

I think it's possible we move back to a #1 seed if we split. It's a near certainty if we win both.
