It’s time for Dennis shaver to retire. He’s had some nice highs at LSU but shite is stagnant.
I want Petros Kyprianou from Illinois. No idea why he left Georgia but was dominating nationals his five years there.

Supposedly he wanted an indoor facility built, but I doubt that was the only reason. He has Illinois as a contender now.

damn, looks like our new track coach has turned things around fast. Here is to hoping we can keep him.

Maybe he likes Chicago? Illinois isn’t even a top 30 track job and he has them rolling
he would crush it in Baton Rouge

Presumptive congratulations Arkansas!

The track program has won a crap ton of national titles since the mid 1980's, but what Arkansas has done on a conference level in that same time is just astounding and likely to never be matched by others.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 1 Arkansas (Men) seeks a six consecutive SEC Indoor team title this weekend as Texas A&M plays host to the 2025 SEC Championships this Thursday through Saturday at Fasken Indoor Track.
The Razorbacks have claimed a conference record 27 SEC Indoor titles since joining the conference in the 1991-92 season. Arkansas previously won six consecutive indoor SEC team titles from 2005 to 2010. A string of seven consecutive titles were achieved from 1997-2003.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Following a decade of dominance, No. 1 Arkansas (women) aims for an 11th consecutive SEC Indoor team title this weekend as Texas A&M hosts the SEC Championships this Thursday through Saturday at Fasken Indoor Track.
The Razorbacks have claimed a conference record 14 SEC Indoor titles since joining the league for the 1991-92 season. Last year Arkansas totaled 131 points to defeat Florida (80) and LSU (68.5).
“We’re excited, it’s the conference meet and the SEC Championship is the cream of the crop,” said Arkansas women’s head coach Chris Johnson. “So, we want to get out here and compete with the very best and see how we match up. We’re in the postseason now, so we’re going to line up and get after it.
“It’s nice to have a winning streak, but we don’t necessarily focus on it. I don’t know if the girls realize it has been 10 years in a row. Every meet is different, every team is different. So, we just need to focus on this team and be the very best Arkansas team we can be at the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships.”
Arkansas Men Since 1978
39 Indoor Conference Titles (12 SWC & 27 SEC)
Arkansas Women Since 2000
14 Indoor Conference Titles

I don’t follow track but it’s surprising to see Texas not on either list. Did the program fall off a cliff? They were top 10 a couple years ago I feel like.

Somebody has their facts wrong and I don't know who.
List of Women's SEC champions
By my count the women are going for #13 in a row. It really doesn't matter, 11 or 13 is bad arse, I just wish people would get their shite straight.
