It's obvious the collegiate career of Jalen Hurts is recognized as the Alabama QB rather than the Oklahoma QB. He was at Alabama 3 years. He was at Oklahoma for only 4 months.
But we'll put it to vote.
If Jalen Hurts is more identifiable as the Alabama QB, upvote my post.
If Jalen Hurts is more identifiable as the Oklahoma QB, downvote my post.

You ran him out of town for a dude made of glass. Go back to your trailer.

Oklahoma.
That is where he played football.
He went to school at Bama
Similar to Joe Burrow (His words)
Went to school at Ohio State
Played football at LSU.
With all that said Hurts seems to be a very smart, classy quality individual. It is hard not to root for him.

He still beat Georgia.

Say what you will about Lincoln Riley, but had Hurts not spent time with him at Oklahoma there is no way he sniffs the 2nd round in the draft, so he likely fades into obscurity as a backup. He developed more in 4 months at Oklahoma than he did 3 years at Bama.

Eagles QB.
He’s better now than ever.

Won't argue with any of that.

The guy has roots at both schools and will be identified as such. He played long enough at Alabama and established enough history there he will always be identified with the Alabama program and his time there. He still identifies himself as being a part of the Alabama family and doesn't shy away from it. He also has roots at OU and will ever be associated with that program as well. It isn't an either/or, it is a both no matter what someone tries to convince themselves. And for the record he earned his undergrad degree from Alabama and his Masters in Human Relations from OU. So he is an alumnus of both.

The Jalen Hurts saga on this website is the most absurd thing to have such traction.
Bama fans claim him as he claims us. We didn't bench him for Tua to win the national title game and become arguably our best passer ever to wear the crimson jersey. Saban did.
We don't deny the year he played at Oklahoma, and we were happy for him then and now.
Any fans here that hate bama so much that they hate that we looooooooove he won a superbowl and still love him as a player and a dude are whiney titty babies who can't stand bama fans having a single shred of joy. That's ALL this is about, and that's all this has ever been about. People mad that Bama gets to claim a superbowl QB.

I could have sworn I saw Jalen Hurts come off the bench in 2018 in the SECCG and led BAMA back from a 2 TD deficit in the 4th quarter vs the Dawgs for the SEC championship. Wasn't he the one doing the Superman poise in the endzone as Kirby wondered how BAMA keeps bringing backup QBs off the bench to break his heart and take his lunch money?
Seems like Jalen Hurts took a hell of a long time to say goodbye after that benching.

If a guy wants to be repped by the different fan bases and schools he attended... he needs to do it like Jalen Hurts or Dillon Gabriel have done it.
If he wants to be vilified by his earlier schools and only claimed by his last school... He needs to do it the way Spencer Rattler and Caleb Williams did it.

If you ask Jalen now, he says he played at Alabama. He rarely mentions Oklahoma.
