I am laughing. Why would some of the team have a bigger drop-off and others would be much better all of a suddenly? I am too tired to put this list up. There are explanations and other information.

Georgia Tech (Loss)
With our SEC schedule, they think we will go 10-2, with losses at Auburn and at Tech? If we lose to GA Tech, our record will not be 10-2.

OU 9-3 sounds about right. Be we ain't losing to Texas. That team lost a lot.
Game-by-game predictions: Illinois State (Win), Michigan (Win), at Temple (Win), Auburn (Win), Kent State (Win), Texas (Loss), at South Carolina (Win), Ole Miss (Win), at Tennessee (Loss), at Alabama (Loss), Missouri (Win), LSU (Win)
Early projection: 9-3, 5-3
Oklahoma will be one of the SEC's most improved teams in 2025 due in large part to staff changes and a new facilitator under center with Washington State's John Mateer taking over. He was dynamic last fall with the Cougars as a dual-threat signal caller and provides the Sooners with accuracy on third down. Offensively, Oklahoma has to find explosive plays. That begins in Week 2 against a Michigan team that will look very different defensively since the Wolverines must replace several early-rounders. Beating Michigan should spark at least eight wins for Oklahoma.

I dont' know how we let a halftime lead get away from us vs you last year. We gonna beat this year shitty rebel team like a drum at home.

Pretty fair assessment of SC. Beating Alabama at home but losing to OU at home is a strange prediction though.

I get it that it's a road game. The Ole Miss and LSU I get but the Oklahoma and Texas A&M seems a stretch. We shall see. We are all undefeated at this point...

South Carolina has lost plenty of games over the years that make you scratch your head as well as pulled off some big upsets. So, I can see why he might go that route. And honestly with games like UK/Ole Miss, Alabama/OU, Tenn/Ark, etc. last year it's not that much of a stretch to say it can happen.

Honestly predicting anything in the transfer portal era is impossible. Assuming a portal qb is going to be good right off the bat just isn’t realistic.

If UGA only loses two games, BUT those two games are Auburn and Tech, then the fact is we've clearly switched over to an alternate universe where down is up, East is West, and the SEC is the worst football conference in the country.

You couldn’t compete with LSU last year… & LSU had no defense.
You’re not beating them this year.

The OU USc game was over before it started. OUs freshman qb turned the ball over his first three possessions of the game and it was 21-0 five minutes into the game. I think he settled in a little bit and I think the OU defense pitched a shut out in the 2nd half just couldn't over come that horrible start.

We lost a lot before last season. You guys said the same thing. Look what happened.

He finished the season with 4 straight losses to New Mexico, Oregon State, Wyoming & Syracuse.

We have yet to win a game against A&M in College Station. Until we do, I'm going to assume it as a loss and can understand why Crawford would feel the same way.

It’s almost like he had help from his teammates in losing those games

Honestly I could see Tennessee with 4-5 losses. Nico has to improve. The defense is losing a lot of guys who played a lot and that is what got us to the playoffs last year.

This is certainly one way to describe losing a football game 35-9.

Im just saying that game was a true freshman quarterbacks first start ever with no wide receivers and a shotty oline. Plus South Carolina was playing out of their mind then. No way it will be like that again this year or probably ever. I think that's what the writer is saying in predicting OU 9-3.
